Immerse yourself and your friends in the art deco lifestyle of the Tarraleah in the 1930s
Dress up 1930s style on Saturday night! Open your secret envelope to reveal your character, follow the clues to your dinner venue and meet your fellow guests. But alas, foul play may be afoot! The plot thickens with each course! Some might say, the dessert is to die for!
Bring your friends for a night you won't forget
Minimum 10 people. Maximum 30 people.
Level of Experience :No prior convictions, suspicious activities, or dubious pasts required!
Cost : $90 per person (excludes accommodation)
Inclusions : 3-course dinner, use of the Tarraleah Estate facilities including cliff-top spa, sauna, gymnasium, squash court, table-tennis, Waterfall walk, Quoll track walk, Eagle walk and bicycle riding for overnight guests. Wine and Beer provided with dinner, additional drinks are at your own expense.
What to bring : 1930s clothing to dress up for the Murder Mystery event. Ladies, a long dress, gloves and hat will look quite fetching. Gentlemen, a suit and hat should have you looking rather dapper.
If you can’t find anything to wear, don’t panic – we will accessorise you. But, beware - this may make you an ‘accessory after the fact’, for those feather boas can be quite constricting, braces can be used for many dubious means, or your hat may have been seen at the crime scene!
Don’t forget your camera to capture Tarraleah’s magic. Should you be feeling energetic, bring suitable clothing for your chosen activities, such as walks, gym, squash, spa, etc. Best to throw in clothes for hot, cold, dry and wet weather; you never know. If you love fishing or golf, bring your gear or hire ours. The Cottages and Lodge rooms are well equipped, so you should find everything that you need, however if in doubt, please feel free to call us.
